According to Ross, "Why people love belonging to a club is that the club takes them to places they wouldn’t go on their own. There is a lot of uncertainty in planning trips like these on your own, but in the club, by just talking to your “Escapist” you can put it all together”. Portico has currated these trips with Natural Habitat Adventures, a company that Portico's sister firm, Exclusive Resorts, has worked with for many years.
Portico is currently offering these three excursions in 2014:
This 7 day, 6 night trip offers a peek into the Inca culture and a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Machu Picchu. There's no age restriction, so kids of all ages are welcome. Highlights of the trip include a stay in a restored colonial palace, a visit to a private Shaman ceremony, and a ride on the famous Vistadome train in Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu. The two Machu Picchu trips are scheduled for July and August 2014.
The minimum age is 7 for this 11 day, 10 night trip to the Galapagos. Guests will enjoy snorkeling with sea lions, hiking through lava formations on Pinnacle Rock, and spotting native penguins on the beautiful beaches. These three trips are scheduled for July and August (although two are already sold out).
