Jet card provider Sentient Jet shared some recent flight trends and released its 2024 Benefits Guide for card holders. This is Sentients 25th year of operation and the 11th year of the Benefits Guide.

Flight Trends at Sentient

Sentient customers are booking their flights much further in advance, about 25 days out on average in 2023 whereas back in 2013, when the first Benefits Guide was published, customers booked about 13 days out on average. This 25 day window is very typical for current reservations across private aviation, with charter marketplace Avinode seeing a similar reservation lead time across 2023.  Note that Sentient guarantees its jet card pricing with as little as 48 hours’ notice on non-peak days and 120 hours’ notice around busy peak days, but clearly its jet card customers are booking well ahead of these times.

In 2023, South Florida overtook New York as the most popular regional destination for Sentient Jet flyers, with West Palm Beach and Naples FL as the top two destinations. Teterboro, NJ and White Plains, NY were 3rd and 4th and Washington, DC was the 5th most popular.

Since the inception of the Benefits Guide, Sentient Jet’s Aspen partner offerings have consistently been the most redeemed perks year after year, signaling consistent travel to Aspen, Colorado. A close second in popularity is the Napa market, where Carneros Resort and Spa and 12 of Sentient Jet’s wine partners offer private wine tours and tastings for cardholders.

Benefit Guide

The first Exclusive Benefits Guide in 2013 had offers from 14 partners and in 2024 Sentient announced 44 partners in their Guide. For card owners who take full advantage of the Guide, Sentient says they can experience benefits with a value of approximately $225,000.

This year’s Guide offers Sentient jet card owners access to the highest levels of service across hotels, wellness, culinary and more with partners such as The Ranch (Malibu and Hudson Valley), Exclusive Resorts, Auberge Resorts, Private Suite, the Boca Raton, Flexjet Helicopters, The Little Nell, Human Longevity, the Kentucky Derby and more.

There are several new partnerships available to card holders this year, including:
